8psi vs 10psi

I just bought a used turbonetics MBC from a friend,And right now I have the stock t25 and stock intercooler,And im getting about 8psi,I was thinking about upping the boost to around 10psi,Is it worth it?Will 2psi make a differents?

Well, yes if your pushing more psi then yes you will gain more power but with an stock intercooler you should be fine but just dont try 14 with SMIC. With FMIC you can go 14psi "but still this is to much for a t25".

14lb is too much for t25? I read a few times it's the max and anything higher start to lose its efficiency

I have blitz sbc id and I went from 7 ish to 10psi, seems to be faster by alittle bit and I know it's not in the head

are you going to up the boost on your t25?? then yes you should in theory gain power. if you mean switching turbos and running 10 then its hard to say........different turbos produce different power at different bands

I think that what he is saying is that at 14lbs the turbo's life span shortens.
