Hey guys I know this is kind of a newb question but I wanted to know a few things.

Ive been reading the posts lately and ive been severely impressed with the numbers you guys are putting down. Im seriously considering going ur way.

I currently am RB20 swapped and I think I want to sell it all and start over.

My goal is to drive on 300 reliable hp. Do you guys think I could do this with 8k? I also want to get a remanufactured motor so I dont deal with old motor problems.

So far I think I want to buy the boostdesigns stage 3 kit.

So please any comments and thoughts are appreciated. just let me know.

thanks-

I thought you wanted an 8K redline, I came here to flame, ahahah. Anyways, you can easily do that for a lot less money than 8K.

lol no I didnt mean that at all.

do you guys have any recommendations for kits/setups for 300 hp?

I know I can find all the info...I was just wondering if a few of you have gone with the same setup or prefer one to another

Hell, you can put together a 300rwhp setup for $5000, even paying NEW retail.

Stock block KA, ~12-13psi:

T3/T4 50-trim = $600Manifold / Downpipe =$550JWT ECU, 50lb'ers + rail, Cobra MAF = $1000Exhaust (N1...?) = $500ACT clutch = $350GReddy KA FMIC = $750TiAL 38mm = $220Oil line kit = $50Bung welded to oil pan = $50

That's $4,070 so far...

And you'll need a custom hot pipe, couple clamps and hoses, etc...so add another $250 for misc stuff.

Call it $4500, even...for a reliable, daily driven, 300rwhp setup.

Easy, and has been done time and time again.

Buy a 70k ka and put the stage 2 kit on there and buy a good clutch.Or just buy a new engine from BD(2000) or Ivan(3600)
