'89 transmission into '93 fastback?

I am putting a new clutch and transmission into my 240. I bought a transmission from an '89 240 and I noticed that the dohc trannys have a sensor that the sohc trannys dont. Will everything still work if I put in that transmission?

i think thats the crank angle sensor your referring to but i couldnt tell you if it'll work or not because im bascially an inept retard

if anything its either a neutral or O.D. switch... but like gumby... i couldnt tell you if the swap would work. maybe one of the moderators might be able to answer this question better.
