89 tran into 97 240

can a 89 trans (ka24e) fit a 97 (KA24DE) 240. i need a tran to hold me over untill the first of the year. i found 2 good 89 s13 . will it bolt up. if not can the bell housing from the 97 be fit to the 89.

your gonna need the CAS sensor on top of the transmission or it wont crank. You need a resistor or somthing to add to the top. This is only needed for 97 and 98 models (could just be for 98 though not 100% sure)
