'89 S13 Wiring

OK I have the engine so it turns over.

OK this is an rb25 w/ rb20 5 speed into a 89 s13.I do not have the male side of the white plug from the RB efi.

When i was wiring I could not find the grey/red wire to connect to the orange s13. I foound black/pink and red/white (closes 2)

I could not find the black/pink wire for the (fuel pump relay) I found a black/white wire in the same location.

also on the driveside inside in the kickpanel I found a plug with black/red ign. wire in it. It used to plug into one of those brown boxes but the box is gone. don't remember taking it out. wondering what this box was and if It should still start without it. The plug is black, and has a cover fow the connection. It is not the green one I have that.

I cant send pics sorry. I really need help I HAVE to have it running by friday. I wondering what pin the grey/red wire is from the early step. and if the fuel wire has a different color in an 89.

You definately need to find the EFI harness.

The color isn't grey/red its Red/Gray - it would help to have the color right but I can't find mine either lol so I used red white cuz I thought they might have mistakened it for red/white.

What brown plug are you talking about? On 89-90 Our plug is White. Get the dash harness plug and it'll make life 100 times easier. I think they might have changed colors after the plug. Do not use anywires you see around, only use the dash harness, efi harness and the 2 plugs that go in your engine bay.

ECU HARNESS PIN 43 GREY/RED wire. That is for startup apparently widens the fuel maps. Not on white plug. And there is a brown plug but it is for all your grounds from the ecu and for shields to ground. That plug is usually tied into your main ecu wiring harness. There is another plug for the cluster and it is white and it is ususally behind the glove box. oh crap it is grey with red. Opps I got mine hooked to red with white lol. Time to fix that.... The guide is kind of misleading because there is alot of other stuff you need to wire, that is just to have the car running. Thanks for fixing the mistake Kuillin.-Alex

I just have to drive it 2 miles to get tags and 2 miles home I will put my interior back in for looks, but gauges will will be motionless.
