So I bought a vlsd with 5 bolt output shafts for my s13 when the seller convinced me it would work by switching the output shafts with my stock 6 bolt ones. After more searching I found out that's not true. Now I have it and still want to use it, I'm just wondring what axles FOR SURE will work for me?

thats weird i would have thought the shafts would have been exactly the same length, spline, etc...

know what the diff came out of? q45 or j30 in either case i think they would be the same gearing just different output shafts if thats the case run the 6 bolt j30 output shafts?

It's a jdm 180 vlsd. I heard 92-94 j30 works... Just wondering if there's anthing else?

hmmm....there is i think a compilation of various nissan diffs with info on here like one big spread...if you could locate your diff and the j30/q45 you could probably cross reference the part no. to see which output shaft would work i cant tell you for sure though...good luck
