89 s13 starting problem SOHC

Here is a run down of what I have done

I bought the car non-running, the guy just had the timming chain replaced and the head gasket replased and the car was running and then he said it stopped running and wouldnt start again. Blablablabla.

-I have Spark all four plugs.-I have Fuel.-car turns over but will not start-fuel pressure is ok-has a stored code of 13 (engine temp circuit)-valves are not bent.-all fuses are good.....and relays

-I have put in a new dist. cap, rotor,wires,plugs......

I reviewed over the work that was done to the car and everything looks good (head gasket,etc)Nothing has been hacked like wireing or anything the car looks to be untouched in that manner, there isnt one aftermarket part

please help mabe some-one know what might cause this simple thing not to run........ I am out of thing to check and test

My first thought is that the guy got the cam sprocket mismatched to the timing chain. Did you already check that?

Temp. sensor is $20-25 from the dealer, it should still start, but you'll want to check the connection or replace that sensor if the ECU shows it.
