'89 s13 240sx- HELP!!! NO Brake lights !!!

MY brake lights aren't working and the fuse isn't blown. Just wondering if there might be an easier fix than retrace the whole system. Thank you all you 240-heads out there.

Have you checked to see if the bulbs are burnt? Mine did that for a little bit. Found out it was a loose connection at the bulb housing.

do all three bulbs burn out at once usually?

I'm an idiot , one bulb was burnt and i suppose it stopped the whole circuit. I will post again if there are more probs after i replace the bulb. Thanks guy for the help, I just jumped to the awful conclusion of "I gotta trace wires DAMN!" thanks again!!!

No go... My fuse isn't blown so i assume it is between there and the lights... any suggestions will help. Thanks nissan heads

Did you look at the switch behind the brake pedal?

Actually I had this same problem. The fuse was not blown. Turned out a previous owner had used paper to wedge a loose fuse. Over time the connection got looser and looser and finally failed. When it failed it arced and fused the fuse in place. The fuse was not blown but useless nonetheless. I tried to pull it out and ruined that slot . I had to create a dedicated box for that one fuse. It sucked

check over the bulb sockets for carbon buildup. clean that stuff out if you see it.

alright... if my brake light part of the dual filament bulb is burnt, will my tail lights still light up?? cuz they are
