I currently have my car at the mechanics. i went to test drive it and when i start to hit gas it will rev up pretty high before it starts to really move. He thinks that the throttle body is not the original one but he cant really tell. He also thinks it might be the accel cable is not attaching properly because the pedal is kinda hard to push at first but the its not after it stops revving high. Just wondering if you can help out with this?? oh yeah its an automatic

some pictures would really help of the throttle body, usually if your revving high in an auto and it doesnt go it would be a transmission issue.

It most likely is a transmission problem. If you want to keep an auto, people practically give them away. Otherwise, you should look for a 5 speed swap.
