89 maxima door wont unlock

i have a hornet alarm, on my 89 maxima, recently the unlock button on the remote wont lock or unlock the doors, i have to keep the sunroof partially open so i can get in. I cant even use the button on the door panel to lock or unlock. i do hear a click but nothing happens, help.:help
