Its been a long time since I've posted anything on here. My transmission had the the rear counter shaft bearing go out (part 6204X) and while I was pulling that, I noticed the reverse idler gear was wearing down pretty bad (since it doesn't have a synch for it).

My question is, where would I find either or both of these parts. I've searched the forums with all combinations of countershaft bearing, idler gear, reverse gear, transmission rebuild and got no hits on any of it. As well as all the local autoparts stores.

Has anyone rebuilt their transmission by themselves? Where would I get these parts. A rebuild kist from AutoZone has a bunch of stuff I don't need, but still no gear sprocket. I'm kind of stuck. Any help would be great.
