89 ka24 swap into a 97 hard body truck

I couldn't find a thred about this so here it is.

My coworkers motor just went out in his 97 truck. And we are going to put my extra ka in it, but it is out of a 89 s13.

So what would have to be changed? Has anyone done this already?

I think if you take the basic engine block and head and use the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and oil pan from the truck and install on the spare engine it should work. I have not done the swap but pulled the engine out of my sons 90 PU when he rolled it and use it for spare parts on his 90 240. The engines are rated at different HP with the truck being about 10 less than the 240 this is just off the top of my head. This may be due to the intake?
