1989 SOHC N/A stock except for k/n filter.

Car has an extremely touchy throttle, when I first touch the throttle in gear under a load the car jerks forward like I'm stabbing it, and when I'm cruising and I ease off the throttle it jerks like I'm slamming the brakes. All in all it doesn't affect driveability but it's getting annoying. Car has always done this and continues to despite all my efforts, does not matter if engine is hot or cold, or how easy I touch the throttle it does it everytime in every gear. Definitely feels electrical, not a mechanical bind in the throttle

I have done full tune up (cleaned and recharged air filter, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, oil change, fuel filter change etc), changed fuel pump, checked timing, adjusted TPS,replaced TPS, replaced MAF, verified all electrical connections are good, Even changed distributors, checked for vacuum leaks blah blah blah. Nothing has made a difference although the rest of the car has improved haha.

Any ideas?

Any way this could be related to the FPR, I would think EGR but it's not hesitating or surging, just jerking like there is a sudden fuel surge when i touch the gas and a fuel cut when i let off the gas, it definitely sounds like the TPS but it's been replaced and adjusted.

My apologies if this should be in general discussion, thought I was in that section. Feel free to move.

:( I guess my only next step is to check continuity for all the TPS wires to the ECU. Sounds like fun
