89 engine rattle?

Ok I just purchased a 89 240sx it's in good shape well maintained its Auto . Has 200K on it but it's Canada so thats Kilometers but the engine looks good and doesn't shake or run rough. Anyways it starts and idles perfect but when its rev'd up the engine makes a rattling noise higher it's rev'd the worse it gets. I know this is a pretty vague description. But any ideas?

rattling? like metal hitting metal? sharp noise? does it tick when you idle?

Timing chain may have jumped a few chinks... but it could be a host of other problems too.

I HAVE THAT SAME PROBLEM WITH MINE.. ITS STARTING TO PISS ME OFF.. I GOT A TICK TICK TICK TICK WHEN I PUT POWER TO THE CAR.. AND INCREASES WHEN I PUSH THE THROTTLE.. AND I ALSO HAVE A METAL TO METAL SOUND LIKE A VIBRATION... WHEN I DO THIS.. JOE
