89 digital dash gauge cluster wiring scematic.

Hey I have a 89 coupe w/ the ****ty digi dash/ hud

and of course it doesn't work,

but on top of that my gauge lights have some kind of short or something in them and like to flicker on and off,

I would like to just (hard wire it ) go to the back of the cluster and run a straight power source to the gauge lights w. a toggle switch,

wich color wires are for the lighting on the gauge harness?I plan to just run a power wire from my cdplayer wiring, either a constant w/ a switch, or the other wire that is only live when the key is on.

I am REALY not good with reading those wiring schematics (sp?)

so if you could brake it down to just color of wires or whatever I would GREATLY appriciate it, thank you.
