my 89 turbo maxima was the hardest engine swap i had ever done i had put v8s into s10s and 240's. but swap out the vg30 sohc motor with a vg30tt the hardest was makin it work with the front whell drive setup but after that was taking care of that BS. it was a breeze an i mean it . wat made it so easy was the fact that mine was a manual and there is less wires. nwow the next spped bump was the turbo on the back side on the fire wall we had made 5 different sets of headers for this to work there is very little clearance. less than 3 inches. this was so we could run true dual exhaust and have a h-pipe. now i have my old setup for the standard vg30 sohc that came in it for sale its only 3months old it includes. intercooler, turbo, blowoff, tubing and mounting hardware. just text me at 256-8749044. for pics and prices. the motor could be sold with it maybe. it has been built to with stand up to 20psi and i was able to produce 385fwhp and 400+tq with the whole setup. so any questions feel free to post and i will answer asap. i am going to the dyno now a my grandfarthers and i will tell you what i am gaining out of this twin setup. but i still need a body kit cause it looks like a sleeper even the intercooler is hidden and i want it to be seen. but i just ordered my al my nismo hardware and larger intercooler. but any questions just ask and i will help the best i can.

Well as far as I know (unless there is a FWD VGe I can't think of) since we have the ONLY FWD VGe, there isn't much aftermarket support for stuff like that (well...at all infact)

So your best bet will most likely be a custom fab job.

Angel lights are as well non-existent for our 3rd gen's...but there are MANY custom built jobs.

Check out Maxima.org, a lot of different people there have retro fitted HID's and such from many different applications.

Now get on those pics!! (like I said...if you can't figure it out email them to me and I'll put them up....my email is in my profile)

You know...after reading this again...you need to clarify somethings for me.

1.) Your VG30et...is that a custom setup or a z31 turbo VG?

2.) When you say VG30tt, do you mean DOHC or SOHC?

3.) Is this all custom work done by you or a shop?

4.) What type of trans (VG or VE 5spd?) are you using and how built is it?

WOW so you swapped in a DETT???

IMPRESSIVE...no wonder you had trouble swapping that in...NO ROOM!! haha

EMAIL ME PICS ASAP so I can get them up on here!!!

And exhaust...your best bet is to get a custom fabbed exhaust because you don't exactly have a standard application haha...muffler wise...I love a good magnaflow.

PLEASE don't get anything ricey (fart can) get a good oval muffler made by a decent company.

PICS NAO!!!!!!
