89-92 transmission swap

ok here's the deal I got a 1992 240sx hb with auto transmission. I also have a 5spd from a 89 240sx along with all the hardware. (the 89 was a wrecked car so i can strip everything) now just a few questions: #1 will the flywheel from the 89 fit on my 92 crank??? #2 which ecu should i use the 89 or 92??? #3 will I need to change the driveshaft aswell??? #4 and if i do would the 89 drive shaft work on the 92???

#1....YES the flywheel will work#2....Use your 92 computer (89-SOHC 92-DOHC#3...Yes, but just the front half#4....YES!!!!!!

Now get your *** under that car and get it done!

ok ok just one more question: would the custom bent exhaust piping from the 89 bolt up to my 92??? or is the header position different??? oh and i have to keep the cat.

ok i had the problem of my exhaust not wanting to bolt back up to the rear transmission mount like it used to. i dont have custom but i do have a Pacesetter. i just said hell on it and left it unbolted, so far so good
