I have a 95 Q45 my engine uses the small type igniters.. my engine is blown and I want to buy an engine but the engine uses the bigger style igniters.

are the head and block of 89-92 and 93-96 the same?

so I can basicly just use the head, block, intake manifold of the 89-92 engine and use my igniters and wiring harness?

short blocks are almost exact for 90-96 except for nitrated cranks in the later models 94-96. 89-93 long blocks are the same and only difference is the standard and TCS models. Once you get to 94 the heads and igniters and CAS changed!
