89-90 Distributor: What's this connect for?

Hey all,

I was wondering if there is a ground wire on the distributor??? I noticed that it has a terminal (silmilar to a speaker terminal) right next to where the wire harness comes out of the bottom of the distributor.

What is this terminal used for?? Is it a ground terminal??

Mine doesn't have anything connected to it.
