Can anyone tell me why these wouldnt fit the 89-90 cluster? there for 91-94 whats the differance between them i though the faces were still the same they apear to be anyway, ive never been able to pull apart the 91-94 cluster to compare.

They're not the same.

You could get away with the tachometer face, since the only physical difference is where the redline is place.

so the faces are actually differant?
well that sucks i want to change my faces to white but cant find any. i tried the sticker over lays but they suck!

From what I recall, regarding dimensions, the analog clusters are the same. Where they are different is MPH limit, RPM redline, and the RPM gauge (electronics) is actually different as well.

But I guess since the MPH goes up to 115 on the single cam, it'd be calibrated differently as well.

So it looks like the speedometer is the only thing that's different. I could still use the faces but it would read different because of the 5 mph difference
