89-90 240s w/ FMIC

any body have pics on how much they cut out their 89-90 bumpers for thier FMIC.. i cut mine a lil bit.. and the 24x12 core is not getting enuff air flow..

Half the intercooler isn't in a direct flow spot... just how it goes. The air still moves behind the bumper. What size turbo are you running?

If your running a stock turbo then that FMIC has more airflow than it could possibly need.

Generally I just cut out the center portion's upright.

hit up Buudweiser... (Ryan)... he's got his front bumper cut up to make his FMIC fit...

lol, take off that silly support with that much of it cut, it isn't going to do anything anyway if you get in a wreck...

Bumper reinforcement has to go for sure.

For me, I don't even have a front bumper right now, lol. who needs it? just adds weight.
