Turning the flywheel gets the surface "ruffed up" so that the new clutch has a surface to create a break in pattern on, same with getting your rotors turned. .....Sounds like we found the problem here. When you do it again, which has to stink, remove the flywheel and take it to (in my town Oreily's will do it for $25) somewhere that will do this. A clutch won't live more than 6 months if your flywheel is "blued" with those little surface cracks. Also make sure you give the new clutch a 500 mile break in period. City driving works best because it works the clutch more, but no power shifting or hard acceleration. This is probly gonna be the hardest part if your like me. Have fun.
