89' 240sx starting problem and runs rough!!!

In the morning the car fires up no problem. but after i drive it x amount of km's and i park it for 5 min or 5 hours it wont start. after that the only way i ever get it to start is if i pop the hood and turn the motor over for about 2min straight..then it finally.. barely starts, then only way to keep it running when i start it is if i tap the gas a couple of times.. and the car runs great while im driving down the highway but sometimes at a red light while the car is in gear (automatic) the rpms drop to a point were the car almost stalls or stalls.. and sometimes it is completely normal.

i checked out a couple of other threads on the forum and the only one i can seem to relate to is the one about the AIV Valve. so i removed that... seems like it has more torque off the line but it still doesn't start all the time and the rpms drop even lower at a complete stop with the car in gear.... before that i replaced that fuel pump and filter.. because the car would die if i stomped on the gas.. but would run if i slowly pressed the gas pedal..that problem hasn't come back but i wouldn't doubt it. and i tried disconnecting each of the injectors but everything seemed normal it runs smooth sometimes and sometimes it doesnt.... it never seems to be consistant .... if anyone could help that would be great.. cause im out of ideas... and i dont want to waste anymore $$$$

did you check your coolant temp sensor? it might be internally open or the circuit may be open, and the computer thinks you are cold all the time, causing mad flooding. i would check that out.
