Alrite guys here is my problem. The car will not start at all. When I turn the key all the way all I get is a click. So I checked to see if I was getting any signal to the starter. It seems like there are two wires that go the starter. One that is directly from the battery and one thats from a switch or something. Now when I try to start the car I get no signal to the smaller of the two wires going to the starter. So now the only way for me to start the car is to take wire and attach it to the positive terminal of the battery and have a friend turn the key while I touch the other end of the wire to the starter, where the smaller wire connects. Can u please help me figure out the problem becuz its becoming a real pain in the butt to have to start my car like this everytime.

if its a manual trans try tapping on the start relay(blue relay with 2 connectors ,one big one small) while someone is holding the key in the start position. if it starts replace the relay. if its an auto trns try wiggling the shifter while holging the key in the start position. if it starts adjust the park/neutral switch or shift lever. if it still dont start bydoing the above check to see if your ign wire directly above the panel below your steering coloum has been cut and an after market alarm or ign cut is wired in. if so take a large paper clip and shove it into the but connectors for each side of the splice and try to start it. if it starts remove the alarm or ign kill device. and reconnect the ign wire together.
