89 240SX Running like $@%&!!

The cars an 89 240SX, auto trans, acts like its missing, lacks power at takeoff but picks up fine once I get going. When at idle it shakes like a big block with a huge cam. I replaced the plugs and cant find any vaccuum leaks. Wires are all on all the way and timings dead on. No odd colored smoke from the exhaust and the cat converters not clogged.

it seriously sounds like a huge vaccum leak. Try spraying some carb clean along where the intake manifold meets the head and see if that effects the idle. Also spray around the base of the egr valve see if that effects it.
