Hi so i removed my engine to change the clutch and rear main seal got it back in and can't get it to start
it will turn over but wont fire it wants to fire and has ran for a 1 sec or so but wont stay running. I had the wiring
harness labeled so i am pretty sure everything is installed right i pulled my fuel rail and i see gas spraying
and i have yet to check spark because i don't have anyone to help me right now. Whats the right way to check for spark.
If it has strong blue or white spark what do i check next.

Heres some pics of what the spark plugs and distributor cap looks like.

I think it might be time to change the distributor cap

Since nothing was really changed that controlled it running, it must be something not hooked back up. Go over all connectors/hoses/etc.

I have gone threw the wiring and hoses again but don't see anything not connected or connected wrong i will go threw it again when its not so cold out
I disconnected the AIV Emissions box sealed the 2 vacuum lines that went into it and welded the hole in the lower part of the header but i don't think
that would make it not start anyone know what part of the wiring harness to look at that would make the car not start thanks.

did you check all ur fuses in case you pinched a wire by mistake? check your basics first and dont over look the little things.

it seems like its possibly the battery.. it may have juice, but not enough to turn the car on.. ive had similar problems and it was just the battery not having enough juice.. run to your local autozone and have them charge it for free, or steal a battery from somebodys car,, put it in yours, turn your car on, and leave the newer battery next to the car you took it from. then just hook up your battery while the car is still running , and let it charge...

my words of advice! hope it helps!!

ps.. when i say steal, i mean jus take it from somebodys car in which they know what you are doing.

i have a battery charger and have been charging my battery when it gets low but it seems to only
get like 15 to 25 cranks then its week. I don't crank it that much all at once. What are the chances the battery is bad
but still cranks the engine.

i changed the fuel filter and the spark plug wires one of them broke off and the ground cable and it still would not start
then i changed the spark plugs i bought with the rest of the stuff and it fired right up on the first crank who would think
the spark plugs would go bad there only 1 year old maybe 10,000km.
