I am trying to figure out what has happend with my car before i winter stored it. There is few problems i need to fix so i can start driving it :
1 i engine had broken timing guide, replaced with new timing kit , new headgasket seals . Car run pretty good, copression was 155-165 , bolted on custom turbo kit, threw in a new clutch, 2 days later i get this noise sorrie about the size but thats the only way i could record it:

so far i figured there is mainly vibration on bottom end , no noise from timing chain, noise is present in gear or out of gear , only above 2000-2500rpm , and adjusting timing doesn't change anything so its 100% mechanical, i have 3" solid exhaust sustem running , so its not rattle of any sort from outside , its internall. i do not feel much vibe on the sides of the block/head , its minor vibe on the oil pan transmission area.
i am armed with thesioscope , torque wrench and extra ka head going to go change the lifters/rockers tonight and try to pin point the noise again,
when i changed the timing chain kit i never pulled the engine out to clean the oil pan , i run atf/oil mix 2 times after putting it back together before driving it and it was all good didn't find any chunks in oil or in filter,. but 2 weks later it started knocking, atf/and oil again no resault, thiker oil no help.
devious ka previos posts are telling me i may have spun a bearing becoue of plastic from the guides plugs up the crank oil passages.
or my crappy non oem timing kit skipped a tooth and now past 2500 rpm my valves are tapping the pistons.... any thoughts , input, things to check for , etc will be graetly apriciated , sorrie about the long post trying to fit all the info in...
and i dunno if its related by its been abit harder than ussual trying to start it -10C , i go storage 1nce a week to start it up.
