So i had a problem where my car would start but not all the time and i had to jump the starter with a wire from the battery to said starter. So the other day i notice a loose wire by the alternator sparking, long story short the wire has lost whatever was holding it onto the alternator. A day later on the freeway my deck died, lights die, engine cant hold rpms and dies. So i know this wire is not a ground, it has power going to it but where the hell does it go!! I just need a picture of an alternator hooked up so i can get a idea...thanks.

the rubber piece is just a protective boot that covers the wire and nut, don't sweat it.
