I am having an occational problem starting my 89 240sx. The engine will turn over fine but just will not start, doesn't even get close. If I push the car and pop the clutch it will start right up and run just fine. This is an occational issue and the time of the day or the temperature does not seem to be an issue. I have replaced o2 sensor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel pressure regulator, had all injectors pulled and rebuilt. Still has intermittant starting issue and also occational RPM drops, boggs down when trying to start out from a stop, like not enough gas is being applied to the throttle. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

let me ask the master tech where i work maybe he can pull a rabbit out of his hat. but it sounds to me like you might need a new ignition switch. i know that sounds strange but that sounds like what happenend on my 89 camaro.

Check your relay inhibitor. I've repalced mine twice.
