89 240sx ignition wiring from key start to switch start conversion.

i have a 1989 240sx with the KA24E motor . i am wanting to do a conversion to make the ignition be on a switch system like you would see in a race car . and because the girl i bought it from lost the keys .... and i dont want to have it rekeyed. im sure i can figure it out just by looking at it and thinkin for a while but i thought i would ask and see if anyone has done it before or if anyone has the wireing diagram for the ignition switch so i can figure out what to wire to what switch. thanks.

i thought it was cheap to rekey? youd need a switch to turn on accessories. and another switch for "ON" and another switch for startlook up starter in my tutorial link for diagrams of ignition switch wiring for 1991. the 1989 will be similar . wire colours are different

im not sure if its cheap or not. i just want switched ignition. my car is gutted and going to be used for track use so im not worried about having a key. ill check out your write up but wish i knew what wire color is for what and i could wire it up myself. but that you for the reply! you wouldnt happen to know wher i could find 4 cheap injecotrs would you? lol

holy hell! at 30 mb it should have evrything you would ever want to know!!! haha. thats a HUGE pdf file man... lol. im gonna need to know all the vacuum lines too. im going to replace them all and im trying to figure out what i can and can not eliminate. i want this car as basic as it can get. i just want the motor to crank. lol.

did you ever made a costom ignitio switch set up for your 240sx.if yes how did you run the wires;also the items needed.
