Cliff's Notes:Full Harness, Motor, ECU, MAF from 95 into 89, swap distributor and intake?Splicing wires, which is body harness on 95?
I have a 95 KA, with 95 Wiring Harness and 95 ECU and 95 MAF, and I want it to go into an 89. I hear all these things about swapping out distributors, intake plenums, so and so forth. If I take everything off the intake plenum, minus what I would need to run A/C and I use a 95 Exhaust Manifold (for now) and essentially make the car run like an OBD0. Why would I need to change everything, or do I need to? Plus (damn I wish I had a cam) I have a Body harness clip from a 91, and the wiring harness from the 95 has the ecu clip, another white clip and a blue 5 prong clip, which one is the "body harness" from the 95 that I need to splice into for the gauges to work? I understand this is a beaten subject, but I just want to do this right from the beginning.
