I have some lateral play in my front driversside wheel.

I have replaced the outer tierod end and stabilizer link the past weekend. But it still has the play.

Upon closer inspection it appears there is play on the inner tie rod, now I have blown my power steering a long time ago so I just removed the belt and used it as manual steering - which I actually like alot more... But running it low/empty on is what I think caused this problem, am I right?

How should I go about fixing this, will I need to buy a new inner tierod or is it a power steering/rack issue?

Thanks

You can get a new inner tie rod and it's not that difficult of an install. Just be sure to get the car aligned after the install.

Thanks, so what would cause the inner tierod to go? Would the lack of power steering pressure contribute to that wearing out faster?
