I know I can remove the BPT-EGR and EGR valves. I know I can remove the AIV stuff and I've already ordered the plugs for the exhaust and intake holes that it makes. But what about all of these vacuum hoses? I see a BUNCH of them that can't possibly have to stay? I'm already removing the butterfly and welding up the holes that makes on the intake.

And is that a Charcoal Canister to the right of my radiator? looks like two vacuum hoses go to the intake mani and the other goes to the gas tank. That can be pulled also right?

thanks in advance!

If you pull em, make sure you cap em after pulling the lines.

If I can pull the Canister that I'm referring to, I know I can pull a ton of those vacuum lines out. I'm just not 100% that that is a charcoal canister. If someone can verify that I can indeed pull it and not get tons of error codes I'll start getting rid of all the crap.

Emissions are not a problem. Georgia doesn't care.

confirmed: that plastic round can w/ a small purge valve on top is the Charcoal canister as 180fan stated.

I just slapped a cap on that as well. I really should get off my butt and pull the long hardline from the fuel tank to the engine compartment but I've been too lazy. But yes, you can cap that.

What do you guys do to cap those lines? I've got mine capped by putting a screw in the end of the line, but I can't help thinking there's got to be a better way of doing it.

The vac lines you can cap with a rubber cap that you can get at your local autoparts store. Vacuum caps in assorted sizes. The one for the carbon canister, you can replace the rubber caps every couple years as the gasoline fumes will begin to degrade the rubber so you can still use that.

There is only one vaccum line that needs to remain on the engine when all is said and done. The FPR vaccum line. The rest are all emissions vaccum lines. You can pull that whole braket off the back of the head, you can pulle the vaccum railing off the bottom of the intake[ will need longer coolant bypass hoses for the bypass of the tubing] You can cap off the vaccum port off the throttle body. only use the rear most vaccum port on the intake for you FPR. You can remove all the hoses going across your radiator shroud and everything they attach to on the drivers side. Stick a 40 ohm resistor in the connectors that were plugged into your solonoids[ prevents CEL] If you remove the hard line to you fuel tank and cap off the port at the tank you need to use a vented gas cap so you dont vapor lock.

With that what do you intend to do with all the emissions equipment after you remove it?

Sorry for reserecting the dead but i would like a little clearification on the venting fuel cap.

Is it a cap that constantly vents to atomosphere or is it like the stock one that has a spring loaded valve in it?

The cap constantly vents as you need to pull air in the tank otherwise it will vapor lock when trying to pull the fuel out of the tank. Without an opening for air to fill the void where the fuel was you will create a vaccum in the tank which will prevent the pump from pulling it out of the tank.
