89 240sx doesnt start due to cold?

I just got this car and it was working fine till it started snowing. Is this a common problem or is there something wrong? Any suggestions on what to check first? and this is my first car so Im really lost on what to do. Thanks.

Check the battery

Battery still works . All my lights turn on. The engine just clicks when I try to start it.

Charge your battery, it's probably near dead. My Olds 88 used to do the same thing when the battery was about dead.

check the battery.....it might be low enough to power the lights but not enough for the computer and electronics........trust me and the others on this one.....
