89 240sx coupe.. is it worth it?

the coupe has good body and interior. engine has 220k miles but seller claims it runs good. is it worth it? i don't have money for a sr swap yet and i want it to last me a while so i can earn some money for upgrades.

If you are in need of a car I would get it if everything seems fine. My S13 coupe has 230,000 on it and still has perfect compression in all 4, has no leaks and yeah runs awesome. I would just really check it out before dropping that much on it.

$1300 sounds pretty fair to me. I paid $2500 for my '92 with 130k on it, but that was after some pretty tough negotiations with an Indian man (as in India, not US)

Anyways, make sure you get a carfax report on the car before you do anything - those do a pretty decent job of telling you where and how the car has been.
