Ok, Here's as I have gathered:

Black/Yellow = StarterBlack/White = Ignition 1

What is color of Cold start?

i am not sure. i have heard of it but never had to mess with one. i do not have a manual for an 89.

sorry to revive an old thread, but I have a similar question, and I searched (hence finding this thread), According to the12volt.com, the starter wire is black/yellow, and the cold start wire is also black/yellow. Are they the same wire? if not, where is the cold start wire located?Thanks,Gar
