is the dual cam coil and the single cam coil any different? I have a dual cam coil on my single cam and the car isn't running too well. My friend said that the dual cam coil operates on a different voltage or something like that. is that true?

iirc if the dohc coil you're pulling is from an s13 it should be the same. if you're trying to get it from an s14, you're grabbing the distributor and doing it wrong.
