Hi trying to find the size of the lines going into the damper from the master cylinder and coming from the slave cylinder to the damper should be the same size.
i want to remove the clutch damper with a line fitting like this on the 89 model this can be done but need the size and flare type
this is what the damper on my 89 240sx looks like
Found a pic of want i want to do and how my clutch damper looks.

its not like the newer cars its like the picture 2 hard lines going into a damper no loop so i would need a
brake line union to fit the 2 lines together. unless you know something i am not seeing or getting but just bend
the line in place makes no sense please explain.

Find a fix yet? Remove a hard line and take it to a parts store like Napa and have them find a double female fitting. I just had to do the same thing with power steering. I've never seen your style clutch damper, I don't believe. But from the pic it looks like you take out the hard line form the slave cylinder line and put the one coming form clutch master cylinder into the slave cylinder line.
