89 240sx CEL 55

I got a CEL and went to get it read. The engine code was 55 meaning System is OK. Is there something I'm missing here? How can I get a CEL telling me the system is OK? After it was cleared, it came back on about a block away from the shop.

Any ideas?

i get that occasionally too. When i check the ecu, i get 55 too. i just learned to ignore it because it turns on then off at highways speeds only.
