Ok, so I got my carpet for the most part installed. I have just 2 problems with it. Both of them involve cuts where they obviously should not be. Is there any way to patch carpet and make it look good?

The first and last time I did the same thing you did - was on my eg civic.

Solution: If you have any remaining material (which you should). Cut the f'ed up part into a measurable square section. Then, using the leftover material - cut out the same square. Then go back to the installed carpet, and right where the new "square hole" is, slide in some duct tape - with the sticky side up. Then place the newly cut sqare in there. Make sense?

Hope it works out for you.

That or you can get Adheasive pellon, its a really thin cloth with glue on one side its much cleaner than duct tape, you iron it to make the glue adhear to the carpeting or whatever aphulstrey your repairing just make sure that both sides of your cloth touch, and you wont have stitching showing on the above side

How would you describe the installation process for the carpet...difficult or easy?
