89 240sx battery draining

Hello,

For some reason, my car has been mysteriously draining the batter. If I don't drive it for a few days, the battery dies. If I let the engine run every day, then its fine. Does this mean there's some wiring grounding out somewhere? I installed my own alarm system a year ago, but this issue only recently appeared. How would I go about checking to see what's causing the drain?

I don't think it's the alternator, because it seems to be charging fine if the engine runs.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

ps: The battery is brand new
