My friend bought a 89 240sx with a 93 ka24 twin swapped in it. That motor eventually started knocking so we swaped that out for a 95 twincam ka24...
using the 93 distributor, intake manifold and fuelrail, & exhualst
the car starts and cranks it idles rough and wont stay running without giving some throttle. We have a misfire on cylinder 3 (loud poping noise (not a knock) and if i remove the wire while the car runs it goes away of course)
ive triple checked the distributor timing (when top dead center on cylinder one i have the distributor rotor pointing to the number contact on the cap.)and firing order what else can it be. (1 - 3 - 4 - 2 counter clockwise starting from the far left of the cap and 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 starting from timing chain back right).
we're also using the 93 ecu but i assume that doesnt matter because all we basically used from the 95 is the short block everything else is from the running 93.
