There's an '89 240 coupe in a junkyard near my house... anything cool I could get off of it for my car?

there are only a few things convertible specific and they are pretty explanatory. (door panels, rear panels...)

Yeah, I was just wondering if there was anything particularly cool or different or whatever from the '89.

I need a couple of bolts for the sub-frame of my car, so I'm going to rob them off of that car tomorrow, and maybe I'll have a better look at it while I'm at it. It is pretty rough... just sitting on the ground, he's going to pick it up with a fork lift for me, so I can get under it.

Well, Buying new bolts would probably be better and more cost effective..

Bolts sitting on a junkyard car are probably in worse condition than your existing and missing ones.

I tried, but was told from several places that they don't carry those bolts.

I believe we might have a new set of OEM subframe hardware at the shop for a S13.

Snatch the "Top Down, and Top Up" switches along with the switch panel on the console for the top and rear windows, I'll take em.

Leave the motor there. its a single cam and your car came with a dual cam.

do you know if its a 5 speed?

hows the condition of the dashboard? you may want to pick it up if its uncracked

as for anything particularly cool about the 89s. nope.
