89 02 sensor

hey everyone, quick question:I have a 89' 240sx with a ka from a 90' in it, and I was wondering if its ok to use the o2 sensor from the 1990 engine with the harness from the 89 or should I get an 89 o2 sensor and put it into the 90' engine? thanks

should be the same?engine change was 91, so im prtty sure the 98 and 90 KA should be identical...*I think*

well ya the engines are pretty much identical, but the o2 sensor on the exhaust mani looked alittle different form eachother but both fit into the plug no problems, reason I'm asking is my gas milage seems to be alittle ****ty, and I dunno if I'm lacking power or not, thanks for the help

have you done any basic maintenance on it ie: spark plug & gap & wires & rotor & cap / fuel filter/ air filter/ injector cleaning ( not the ones you put on the tank).

then there's checking for vacuum leak, battery,grounds, and other stuff.

where did you get your o2s? it should be simple single wire o2 zirconia type. it should be fine unless the wires is touching the exhaust equals heat equals resistance.

same o2 sensor. it'll be fine. Have you checked with http://www.ngk.com for the part?
