88 300zx crankshaft pulley?

i recently aquired an 88 300zx turbo and the crankshaft pulley is chiped all the way around the drive belt portion of the pulley. Does anybody know the whereabouts i could purchase and new crankshaft pulley aftermarket or stock? Or is there an option to swap on from a diffrent year make or model?

Well you can get a crank pulley from a 4/87 to 89 300zx. Doesnt matter whether it is turbo or n/a.

I think that all of the major distributers have puled out of production for the pulleys. Personally I would not go with a pulley, but rather a harmonic balancer, but none of them are being produced either.

And NO the 90+ pulley will NOT work.

Your best bet it to find a good used one.

i have the same problem with my z. i found a pulley at a pullapart junkyard. a new one from nissan is $400 and takes a week to get here from japan.
