87 ZX, Z31 Throttle Cable

I was hoping someone could point my in the right direction. I can't seem to locate the throttle cable or even a part number for my 87 300zx. It has broken and no local shops can find it.

Specialty suppliers like MSA (zcarpart.com) Victoria brittish (blackdragonauto.com) or even courtesy nissan (courtesyparts.com) should have it. When dealing with hard to find parts though local shops I find the ones with a real parts counter and machine shop are able to locate just about anything, and then there is always the salvage yards and ebay.

Thanks...the dealer can get it, but wants $100+ for a that little cable...no luck at the other two places...but thanks! Just looked at another 87 at a junk yard and the cable was different...The throttle control only had 1 cable and "spool" on it...not sure why...maybe no Cruise control??

All US and Canadian Z31s used the same throttle cable. So if you find it in a junkyard Z31, it's going to work in your car.
