I'm having a few probelms with my Z31, The most irritating one is the car always blows hot air from vents, I cannot adjust anything on the ACC, and ambient temp is reading around 49 Degrees Celcius.

My initial thought was the ambient temperature sensor is fried, would this cause the symptoms I am describing?

I've also heared vacuum lines that are damaged can cause ACC issues, but they all appear ok (short of pulling the dash apart to further inspect)

Any advice you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

those little vac lines go to a cluster of dashpots under the dash, kinda over the trans tunnel by the drivers gfeet, most likely those dashpots are stuck or cracked, very common problem, I was lucky and freed mine with a vac pump, seems most people the simply rot and have to be replaced

Inspected valves (dashpots), all seem to be in fine condition and vacuum lines are in very good condition.

Any other suggestions ???
