I had a z24i a few years ago, and now I've got a ka24e. The exhaust manifolds look the same, but I'm not sure about the bolt pattern. I also had the idea of turboing the z24 motor, and they do exist. I just didn't have the money for it. I'll try to find some more info for you

I was doing it, but I can't turbo/supercharge in the series I'm doing.

As you know, your z24 motor is part of the NAPS-Z line of engines. There was a Z18ET engine that was turbo'ed from the factory. I think the parts will bolt up to a z24 if you can find them. they are probably in Guam, Puerto Rico, Austrailia, South America, South Africa, or elsewhere...

PS: Whatever you do, make sure it will clear the steering shaft and master cylinder(s).

This is a good point but I think that so long as you do a top-forward mount on a log style manifold, you'll clear everything fine. Don't be surprised if you have to create your own (I would have). Your next problem will be the intake, but if you go the route I was going, you've also seen how TBI Chevy/Dodge guys do it.

[IMG][/IMG]Turbo naps-z motor, looks like a z18et, or maybe another larger naps-z with z18et parts on it.

The only two issues with putting most car engines into the Pickup is the oil pan and pickup tube. You can fab or you can have those fabbed up, though. I wouldn't lean the engine up, as I would be worried with oil pickup on the amount of lean you'd need to fit a front sump into the truck engine bay. It's been done, but I'm no fan of it.
