87 update!

well at my shop i discoverd that my frame is A ok!!! i have a bent upper right A arm.. so im getting the lift UCAs from 4x4parts... also getting the moog centerlink and they also said something about my steering box and the pitman arm and something being twisted. dont remember specifically... but if nothings stripped would it be possible to rebuild the gear box?!?

I'd look at the pitman arm, the box should be OK. I'd also replace the idler arm, something I still need to do, while you have the centerlink off. The centerlink is a very easy job to do, let me know if you need any advice.

Yah i figured the box would be ok.. Yes! the idler arm and pitman arm are excellent ideas!!!! im going to be taking tons of pics of this rebuild!!! maybe even do a write up for the lift arm install... I am also going to do the Balljoints!! any recommendations for those?! And thanks rev!! ill def be hitting you up on that!

Ball joints, best way to separate is using this... http://www.harborfreight.com/c...99849I tried using a fork and after tons of hits nothing had budged. A couple cranks on this thing and everything came apart in seconds flat. Go Moog all the way because they are greasable.
