 :wtf2: Ugh I'm losing my mind here! So after redoing injectors, I had gotten it running. It would cut out at the end of first if I'm stepping on it or early into second if cruising, doesn't stall just no response. I went to take it apart again, my intake manifold bolts were loose. So I just redid cooling system, valve covers and lower and upper intake manifold, used shellac on everything and a torque wrench, just went for a drive same exact issue. I do notice air sounding like it's leaking/hissing near the throttle body on driver side of the intake, by the injectors. Spraying starting fluid near there had absolutely no effect on it. In park it will rev all day long no problems. Only in gear will it cut off I'm moving any faster than a jog. Can anyone help me I'm lost as to what it could be now.

So, under load, it fails to pull beyond 10mph...

I'd back up and first do a compression test. Air escaping rather than a vac leak is concerning...

Yeah, there was a suggestion my father made of making sure all the basics are good and set (compression, timing etc.) Just to make sure all that checks out, should be able to do that this weekend. I ran tests on my AFM according to the fan and that checked out good. And I cant confirm or deny if it's sucking air in or pushing it out, I need to disconnect my fan and see if I cant blow some smoke at it to help me find where it's coming from, it's like a little deeper than where the idle up controls were.

Also, not sure if this helps diagnostics but I can spin the tires for a while before it cuts off.

Yeah, that's not helpful. If it'll boil the tires, but not exceed 10mph, something's wonky.

Yes I agree while heartedly. Across all fields and value it acts fine so long as you don't jump on the throttle or let it drop straight to idle after revving. Park neutral and d ranges are all operational toll 10mph, then cutoff. If I hit the brakes and get under 10 everything instantly picks up where it left off.

I'm on multiple forums and Facebook groups, and have sent this info out to my mechanically inclined friends, it leaves basically everyone stumped. I just don't really know where to start looking at this point
